Maybe you don’t remember his name, but he is probably the kindest man alive.
Braima Dabó finish recently his master’s degree in management at the Bragança Polythecnic Institute, start a family and created a Foundation in his home country in his name. This organisation it’s called “Baima Dabó Foundation” (Fundação Braima Dabó in Portuguese).
The goal of the Braima Dabó Foundation it’s to develop sport and education in Guinea-Bissau one of the Portuguese speaking countries in Africa.
Maybe you don’t remember Braima Dabó, but he is already in the history books of sport because in 2019 he helped Aruba’s Jonathan Busby finish the five thousand metres when he saw that he was physically weak and carried him to the finish line. This spontaneous sportmanship attitude in the Athletics World Championships in Doha earned him the 2019 Fair-Play award from World Athletics, the International Federation of Athletics.
Braima Dabó is a great person, is our friend and is working with us.
