Celebrating 10 Years of Erasmus+ Sport

On the 15th June 1987 Erasmus program was created….but this year we celebrate also 10 years of the Erasmus+ Sport program.

Since 2014, Erasmus+ Sport has been promoting sport and physical activities by supporting grassroot sport organisations across Europe.

As sport is an essential part of European identity, the EU offers a wide range of funding opportunities in the field, mainly through the Erasmus+ programme.

Look back at the evolution and the impact of the programme over the last decade, encompassing a budget surge from 20 million EUR to 80 million EUR annually.
