Last 25th and 26th of November, the beautiful city of Madrid in Spain hosted the final meeting and final conference of the European Project “EU Join Us”.
On the first day of work the project partners from Spain, Portugal, Italy and Turkey meet to define the last task on the project that has as main goal the creation of an “European Model of Inclusive Sport for People with Down Syndrome”.
On the second day of work, the headquarters of the delegation of the European Union in Madrid hosted the conference that presented the results of the project.
In summary, the main results of “EU Join Us” have been the creation of the European Model of Inclusive Sport for People with Down Syndrome (available by clicking here) and of the multilingual online Training Courses, totally free of charge for Clubs and Associations (available here). In total, more than 200 professionals have already been trained through the courses created within the framework of the project.
