The opening meeting of the sport project “Empowered Female Coaches of Basketball” took place on February 21st at the headquarters of the Associação Desportiva Social e Cultural de Carvalhais in the municipality of Mirandela in Portugal.
This sport project it’s part of the Erasmus+ program and aims to promote transnational cooperation in amateur basketball, encouraging the increase of female basketball coaches in Europe.
The following organizations are part of this small collaborative partnership:
Barcel’hona Sports Events (Spain), Club for Youth Empowerment 018 – KOM 018 (Serbia), Associacão Desportiva Cultural e Social de Carvalhais (Portugal), Young Lions Gdansk Sports Academy (Poland) and A.S.D. Darwin Knew Basketball (Italy).
