Presentation session of the DORGIS project of Bragança Football Association

As part of the activities of the “Doping Roadblock Game in Sport” (DORGIS) project, two presentation sessions of the “Augmented Reality” APP for smart phones and tablets developed by the project took place on December 29 in Macedo de Cavaleiros and Mirandela in Portugal.

This project aims to educate about the nature and risks posed by doping and, at the same time, promote sports ethics and healthy nutrition.

In this sense and being that the main target audience of this project are the young athletes between 9 and 16 years old, the Bragança Football Association carried out a multiplier event composed of two sessions, and which involved the team staffs of the girls regional selections of Viana do Castelo, Guarda, Vila Real and Bragança.

These teams are in the Bragança district participating in the Portuguese Football Federation’s Female Under-17 Futsal Inter-Association Tournament.

Very soon the APP will be available for free on Google Play and APP Store.
