On October 8th, 2025, SISTERS partners participated in an international training on gender sensitivity and intersectionality-informed methods (start of WP3) in the city of Porto in Portugal.
The training provided a valuable space for reflection and learning on how to apply gender- and LGBTQIA+-inclusive methodologies in sports. Sessions on gender, SOGIESC, and intersectionality guided participants in exploring practical ways to prevent and respond to discrimination in sporting context.
During the international training, the partners agreed on a common program to implement the local trainings. Following the training, the trained partners will design and deliver similar sessions within their local contexts.
On the 9th of October 2025, the second Transnational Partners & Steering Committee Meeting of the 𝗦𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦 – 𝗙𝗼𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗚𝗕𝗧𝗜𝗤+ 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗜𝗻 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 project took place at the Porto FA headquarters.
During the meeting, partners had the chance to discuss the progress of the project, including, among others, the SISTERS Handbook and plan the following steps of the project.
