On the 23rd October 2025, the city of Monopoli, in southern Italy, hosted the second working meeting of the DAFNE project – “Data Analysis and Dual Careers: New Pathways for Footballers.”
The initiative was hosted by partner Hypex, with an agenda covering a series of important topics for the next stages of the project, such as the development of a web platform for training and coaching, as well as a virtual game that will allow participants to perform the role of a soccer data analyst online.
The DAFNE project – “Data Analysis and Dual Careers: New Paths for Footballers” – is an Erasmus+ project that helps football players outside the major divisions to build a second career by specializing in data analysis, an increasingly sought-after role in the areas of scouting, training and media.
This project it’s coordinated by Bragança FA from Portugal.
