Three days. Five countries. One shared goal: breaking the basketball glass ceiling.
From 28–30 September, Pedreguer in Spain hosted the final international stop of EQUAL Play – Breaking the Basketball Glass Ceiling, bringing together European partners and participants to share experiences and work on gender equality and inclusion through sport.
Throughout the project, basketball has been used as a powerful tool to challenge stereotypes, promote equal opportunities and encourage girls and women to stay involved in sport.
After international meetings across Europe, Pedreguer has been the meeting point for the final stage of this journey.
