The wonderful village of Carvalhais in the Municipality of Mirandela in the north of Portugal, hosted during almost a full week the second meeting of the Erasmus+ Sport Project “Sport For Life”.
The goal of this meeting was not only to plan the next steps of the project but also to show the implementation at local level of the “Sport for Life” project and some good practices in the local stakeholders.
Our partners for the Municipality of Savona in Italy and the Municipality of Krsko in Slovenia had the opportunity to visit the EPA Carvalhais, the Freguesia de Carvalhais and some of the beautiful regional attractions like the Azibo protected area in the Municipality of Macedo de Cavaleiros, the Olive Oil Museum and the Camino Santiago East in the Municipality of Mirandela. They also had the opportunity to participate in a workshop on the importance of be physically active and inclusive at EPA Carvalhais.
Carvalhais it’s definitely in Europe and it’s one of the most active players in Erasmus Plus Projects in Portugal.
