The Bragança Football Association became recently one of the first Portuguese Sport Organisations to host an Erasmus+ Sport Mobility for Sport Staff (KA182) that had bring Football Coaches from Slovenia to the North of Portugal.
The Football Coaches from Slovenia will be in the North Region of Portugal between the 23rd and 28th October and will visit, not only the member clubs of the Bragança FA but also other clubs and football academies based on the North of Portugal.
“Erasmus+ Mobility for Sport Staff” supports European partnerships in grassroots sport. Ultimately, the aim of this kind of projects is to establish a European network of coaches and sports staff. The Eramus+ programme aims to provide the staff of sports organisations, primarily at a grassroots level, with the opportunity to improve their competencies and qualifications. Coaches can acquire new skills through this mobility. This is done by spending time abroad in another partner country and bringing back new ideas that contribute to the capacity-building and development of the sport organisation where they develop their work.
