On the 28th of September, the city of Targu Mures, Romania, hosted the final meeting of the DART Project – “Diabetes – Augmented Reality Training,” of which the Bragança Football Association is a partner.
The main objective of the project is to promote sports, physical activity, and health for people with type I and II diabetes, encouraging a healthy lifestyle.
The objectives of DART were achieved through the design and implementation of innovative digital tools, such as a smartphone app and online training modules for coaches and physical education teachers.
The testing phase of the app and the platform with the training modules took place during the III Football Training Days of Bragança FA, which took place in Mirandela in Portugal on the 5th and 6th September 2025.
DART officially ends on December 31st, 2025, and until then, several events will be held to promote the developed digital tools.
In addition to Bragança FA in Portugal, the DART consortium is composed of five other entities from Spain, Greece, Italy, Romania, and Croatia.
