The second meeting of the Equal Play Erasmus+ Sport project was organized in the beautiful city of Malatya in Türkiye on the 2nd and 3rd of September 2025.
This meeting included also an event that bring together a talented group of young female basketball players from the partner countries. This international basketball event was a fantastic opportunity for the players to showcase their skills, learn from each other, and exchange experiences. As part of the event, the young players attended a seminar that show them the inspiring philosophy behind the EQUAL PLAY project, which aims to promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in sports. During the activity-packed day, two disabled basketball players from the Malatya Metropolitan Municipality basketball club joined the players, sharing their own stories and experiences. Together, they participated in a training session that was both fun and educational, highlighting the importance of accessibility and equal opportunities in sports. The event was a huge success, and we’re thrilled to see the impact it will have on the lives of these young athletes!
The project partner organizations also meet to define the next steps and tasks of the project.
The next meeting of the project it’s already schedule for January 2026 in Mirandela, Portugal.
