EU Join Us project meeting in Rome

On the last 2^nd and 3^rd of October, the Portuguese Hockey Federation (FPH) was represented  in the 2^nd project meeting of the project “EU Join Us”.

This 2^nd meeting was hosted in Rome by the Associazione Italiana Persone Down, the meeting started with the presentation of all partners on current situation of inclusive sport activities in their countries, continued with Down Spain presentation of the European inclusive sport intervention model.

 Associazione Italiana Persone Down presented the future training course and Unione Rugby Capitolina presented social inclusion through Rugby and Türkiye Down Syndrome Association presented the most recent vesion of the project website.

After the meeting, we had the opportunity visited the Unione Rugby Capitolina sport facilities and participate in the rugby training with the Union Rugby Capitolina inclusive rugby team.

The next project meeting will happen in the beautiful city of Porto in Portugal.
