The EPA Carvalhais vocational school in the municipality of Mirandela in Portugal hosted in the last 29th September the Final Conference of the Erasmus+ Sport project: “Discovery Europe Thought Sport and Games” (Discovery EU).
Discovery EU is a small-scale partnership in the field of Sport, that aims at increasing the feeling of belonging to the EU among young people through sport, including vulnerable groups, enhancing opportunities to try and discover different sports and raising awareness of the importance of physical activity, also through the use of digital, in formal and non-formal education settings.
The Final Conference of the Discovery EU project was integrated in the celebration of the European Week of Sport and had bring to the village of Carvalhais in the Municipality of Mirandela partner organizations from Italy, Irland and Serbia.
The conference had also the special participation of Professor José Bragada from the Bragança Polytechnic University and Rui Cortinhas the President of the Bragança Traditional Games Association.
This event was organized by ADCS Carvalhais and hosted at the EPA Carvalhais vocational school and had the presence of more than 120 participants.
